EVENT DETAILS
Every year Pearl Institute (Formerly known as Anatolia Cultural and Dialogue Centre) hosts a series of “Community Iftar (fast-breaking) Dinners” during the month of Ramadan.
Iftar dinners bring together people of various faith and ethno-cultural backgrounds and serve as a means of fostering dialogue and cross-cultural awareness. Each of these dinners has received many attendees from all walks of life including government representatives, professionals, business people, representatives from media and academia, scholars and Undergrad-MA-PhD students from universities, as well as religious and community leaders.
Like the dialogue and cultural centers in over a hundred countries, PI has been hosting dinners for years.
On 3rd of July, PI hosted students from HKU, City U, Poly U, HKUST and Chinese U to brightening our future through a better mutual understanding with sharing our iftar dinner.
