Mr. Martin VAN BRUINESSEN Visited PI

On 27 May 2013, Mr. Martin VAN BRUINESSEN visited Pearl Institute (Formerly known as Anatolia Cultural and Dialogue Centre) during his short trip to Hong Kong.  Mr. Martin is an expert on the regions of Asia and Middle East and especially Turkish and Kurdish Societies.

during the visit, Mr. Martin was informed about the Turks who live in Hong Kong and about the PI by directors of the centre. Mr. Martin expressed his good wishes regarding to the activities run by PI and their donors Turkish Community for their kind supports.

his visit also brought joy to the center. Due to his researches in the past, he learnt  Turkish, Kurdish and English well. As result, the conversations  in these three languages, created a very a positive and fun atmosphere.

At the end, Mr. Martin was presented a coffee set by General Manager Mr. Erdem Congar under the saying of, “ A cup of coffee makes forty years of friendship”.
