Iftar Dinner with ‘Sufis for a Day

EVENT DETAILS

Sufism (tasawwuf) is the path followed by Sufis (adherents of Islamic mysticism) to reach the Truth-Humanity.

Sufism is the path followed by an individual who is seeking to free himself or herself from human vices and weaknesses in order to

acquire angelic qualities and conduct pleasing to his/her creator. Such a goal can be realized by living in accordance with the requirements of creator’s knowledge and love, and in the resulting spiritual delights that ensue.

Sufis they are among society, living next to us. They have nights which they seek better relation with their creators, they have days which they are running on their works as passionate as others. They have the regular days but different nights and inner life.

As we closing to the end of Ramadan Month, Anatolia Cultural and Dialogue Centre has organized a dinner for the people whom interested in Sufism on 19th of July 2014. Regardless of their cultural and religious background, people has gathered around the philosophy of Sufism – the unusual level of humanistic aspect –

People whom attended the dinner have learned the Sufism from the volunteers of PI (Formerly known as ACDC). At the beginning, the sufi lovers listened about the iftar dinner, afterwards another volunteer has demonstrated one of the mystic music of Sufi Dervishes during their whirling. After the music performance, a friend of ACDC introduced Sufism with its misconceptions and its truths.

We thank whom attended our dinner and shared our happiness on the night.
