A Visit by Mr. Joseph TING

On 11th of December, Professor Joseph TING, one of the most well known historians in Hong Kong visited Pearl Institute (Formerly known as Anatolia Cultural & Dialogue Centre) to have better understanding between cultures and the past-present relations of two nations.

Mr. Joseph Sun-pao TING, Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Department of History, Centre for Comparative and Public History, Chinese U, has met with Pearl Institute  representatives at a lunch. While having delicious food from Cantonese Cuisine, the representatives and other friends had a journey in the history for more than one hour.

Later on, the historical and interesting stories in the history continued at PI around the tea table.  Mr. Ting emphasized the relation of two countries, which goes back more than thousand years back.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Joseph presented by a set of coffee cup to reinforce this relations for more thousand years.
