ACDC Presented Turkey to Police Officers

EVENT DETAILS

On 11th of December 2013, Pearl Institute (Formerly known as Anatolia Cultural & Dialogue Centre) introduced Turkey to the Policemen at MongKok Police Station Recreation Centre.

With growing economic and cultural heritage, Turkey has become one of the most famous touristic spots for Asian countries in recent years. People from all across the globe see Turkey as a famous place to visit and learn about its rich historic background as it has been one of the most important cities for vast empires of history with more recent one being the Ottoman Empire. The Turkish Cuisine, panoramic sights and unique culture has attracted many tourists in the recent years.

Pearl Institute introduced Turkey to a number of Mandarin Learning Policemen and their teachers.

The event started with lovely chats and followed by introduction of PI. Later on there was an interesting and informative presentation on Turkey. At the beginning, there was some oral presentation with slides about geography, history, culture and traditions of Turkey and later on a video was screened about history, culture and lifestyle of the people.

After the presentation, the mandarin teacher invited all attendees and ACDC representatives for the dinner.

PI has been organizing many activities at different events and organizations across Hong Kong and in many of them we have introduced Turkey which has gained remarkable interest of the audience.

We are thankful to the Hong Kong Police for letting us share with them about Turkey and this strengthens cultural and social ties between Hong Kong and Turkey.
